Debbie is the founder of Wild K9 and brings a wealth of experience and has gained a number of widely recognised certifications within the dog training industry. Debs currently has five dogs of her own which includes three Staffordshire Bull Terriers, a Pachon Navarro and an Irish Wolfhound cross. She fostered a wide variety of dogs for three different rescues over a 10 year period and has gained and invaluable amount of knowledge and experience with different breeds. During this time Debs also gained more experience volunteering and assisting the Dog Trainers that visited the rescue to help with dogs that were displaying behavioural issues. After fostering dogs for 10 years Debbie decided to pursue a full time career within the pet care industry and successfully completed a number of courses before starting her own Dog Walking business in 2017. After two years of running a very successful dog walking business Debbie began studying again whilst continuing her dog walks and completed accredited and certified dog training courses on animal care, puppy training, canine behaviour and psychology, reactivity, adolescent dogs, canine nutrition, fear and frustration and more with IMDT, School of Canine Science, Absolute Dogs, APDT to name but a few. Debs has continued to learn and now offers scent work, tricks and enrichment workshops and is also currently studying an Advanced Diploma in Applied Canine Behaviour Level 6 and vows to continue learning and studying to always improve quality of service and training.
